Within His Happy Eyes

The stars will still glow
The sun will still shine
The leaves will still fall
The sun will go down.

The body still moves,
as its eyes do still blink.
The mouth still does turn
but not upwards.

The pain can be read,
within one person's eyes.
The lines begin to show,
of all the tears that lay behind.

But I will still know
And I will still feel,
The love so strong within
The man who loves me true.

He has a way he knows
He lights me up inside.
To see him, kiss him, smell him.
To be within his happy eyes!
