Jesus Christ, Son of God

Jessica Ward

Two times a year men enter His house
To acknowledge Birth and Resurrection.
We walk every other day of the year
Deaf hearts hide from Christ's direction
Deep, deep lies our conscience
What will others think of me?
Deep, deep lies our sin
Christ was crucified to set you free.

Son of God,
A man like you and I,
Felt our pain
Laughed and cried.
Innocent from Birth to Death
The only man to defeat the end.
Alpha and Omega
Mankind is lost without this friend.
