Angelic Face

I walked through that door
and saw your angelic face.
With eyes full of happiness
my heart began to race.

You sat so very still.
Looked at me and winked
You then touched my hand
and I knew that our lives were linked.

Your other hand
held onto my arm,
pulled me down toward you
and kissed me with no harm.

My knees went weak
as you held me tight.
I knew I'd be with you forever.
You would always be within my sight.
